“In learning you will teach and in teaching you will learn.”

Phil Collins

Teaching was a dream. I loved it! Watching my students faces light up when they made a connection transformed the grueling days into successes. But it wears on you. All of the stuff outside of teaching… the parents… the administrators… the negativity. I told myself if I ever felt that negativity, then I would make a switch. After 8 years, it was time. I hit the reset button, got my MBA, and found a job in finance helping small businesses with working capital. I am happy and enjoying a positive work environment. But teaching still resonates with me. So I created this blog after pulling myself out of nearly $30K in debt and getting on the path to financial independence. Now I want to help you get on that same path. So join me, and don’t hesitate to email me with any questions. Cheers!
